CHICAGO SKYLINE
While thinking of ways to integrate natural woodgrain into paintings, I started seeing similarities between wood grain and swirling clouds. I used one to appear as the other. I chose a nice vibrant red sunset to really pop off the color of the wood.
Sky and water are both pastel. The skyline and each individual white light are acrylic paint.
